Look of the day 4/4/2015

Look of the day- April 3 2015!

Today I accidentally had perfect hair so I decided to put on makeup. Because that's what you do when your hair looks good.

One of these days I'll be photogenic! My top is from Vivien of Holloway if you're curious.

Let me preface this by saying a lot of my look today was achieved with Urban Decay Naked on the Run palette.  I've listed it as "UDNotR."

FACE:
Josie Maran tinted moisturizer- fair
OCC skin conceal- Y0
Blush & highlighter- UDNotR

EYES:
UDNotR- Dive, Fix, Resist, Perversion mascara
Kat Von D Lightning Liner - Fyfe (original version)

BROWS:

Kat Von D liquid lipstick- Vampira (barely patted on and rubbed in really well)

Outer corner/crease: Violator (boo--all that gorgeous glitter is nowhere to be seen)
Lower lash line: Violator diffused with Holy Bible
Inner corner/browbone: Holy Bible
Brow: Lucifer
Waterline/upper lash line: Puro Amor Autograph pencil.  (PS: This wears ridiculously well on the waterline) I also smudged this into the lower lash line.
Underneath it all: High Voltage eye primer in Skin

KvD Gunshine lipgloss (sadly discontinued, but Urban Decay's Lip Junkie in Perversion is a good dupe)
This post has mostly what I used on my face, but instead of using my Studio fix compact, I decided to use my Bare Minerals foundation.  I use "Fair" - the lightest color they make- but it's still a little too dark. Over that, I have Urban Decay's Razor Sharp defining powder.

KvD's Truth Palette, a 2nd look

Hi! Remember all that not totally loving the Truth palette? Well, after seeing the looks XLadyGatesX did on youtube, I realized I was just approaching this palette all wrong. It's all about a soft, pastel eye, which I don't usually think of when it comes to the KvD line.

Here is today's look.

Lid: Snake Eyes

Crease/lower lashline: Galeano

Browbone/inner corner: Sugar Skull

Liner: Prague, used wet. 

Other products used: Benefit's Bad Gal Plum Mascara, Sephora's Lash Plumper Mascara, Urban Decay Primer Potion (original), and Kat Von D's eyeshadow in Lucifer (used on brows. Can be found in the Ludwig, Beethoven, Gypsy, Metal Orchestra, and True Love palettes)
